this girl LOVES laying on things. especially warm things. she laid on the sand for probably 10 minutes before she got up then went right back to laying down. it was hilarious!
We have some family that lives about 3 hours away in Huntington Beach, so we like to go down for the weekend. Not only do we enjoy getting out of town but they love to watch our girls! Which means date night at the temple! It's the best. Really. We live a couple hours from any temple, and we didn't realize how amazing it was to have one, minutes away when we lived in Idaho. So we got spoiled with a date night. The next day we took the girls back to the Newport Beach temple. Laurel LOVES temples. It was fun to see her so excited to be at one! She asked if she could touch it. We even got a video of her singing I love to see the temple while we were there. I will have to post it sometime!
After we went and changed our clothes to play at the beach for a while. Laurel had a rough night the night before so she was a grump. But I think Blake got enough sand on her for both of them. We got home and were so exhausted. These weekend trips can be hard, but I look at the pictures and they are so worth it!
